About our Speaker

Lutz Mike 2012-06 4As Vice president of sales and marketing at Bassett Mechanical, Michael is responsible for leading the sales and marketing initiatives to grow the business as well as related strategic planning, training, building customer relationships, developing plans for entering new markets, branding, advertising and maintaining a strong community support and awareness.

Prior to joining Bassett, Lutz served in a variety of leadership positions with International Paper and Rexam including director of global sales and marketing and vice president of sales and marketing respectively.  He has a strong background in business development, CRM, sales planning and execution and strategic marketing.   He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from DePaul University in Chicago and attended executive marketing and leadership programs at J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.

Lutz has served on a number of business boards including AIMCAL and PSTC as well as being a volunteer on community boards and committees in Illinois and the Fox Valley.
