Jim will cover the GNC story, from its inception back in 1962, to being a leading developer and manufacturer of creative solutions for packaging, shipping, merchandising and distributing products for industrial, commercial and retail markets. He will discuss how the market has changed over the last ten years, why GNC has been successful, where the market is heading with both retail and e-commerce, and what they are doing to position themselves for the future. He will also touch on practices of successful sales people, how to identify good, long term prospects, and how to strategically identify prospective markets and then equip your plant to succeed in those markets. You won’t want to miss this one!
About the Speaker:
Jim Chicoine has been with GNC for 37 years, in various Sales and Sales Management roles. He is currently the VP of Sales. Jim is originally from Chicago, but has called Neenah ‘home’ since he was three. He graduated from UW-Madison with an Economics degree. He is an avid sports fan, coaching soccer for 14 years and hockey for 16 while his kids were growing up, and he attends all Packer games. Jim also enjoys deer hunting, biking, golf, and spending time with his grandkids.
