About the Speaker:
Vice President of Marketing, Menasha
Menasha’s success reflects their marketing and sales efforts. Dennis Bonn’s decade-long involvement touched every aspect from strategy to execution, including advertising campaigns to new business development.
During Dennis’s tenure, Menasha doubled in size in fewer than five years through organic growth and acquisitions (six companies acquired since 2012). In addition to driving regional and national sales and company-wide goals, his accomplishments include building and mentoring effective marketing and sales teams, managing P&L and EVA, and developing and introducing new products.
Dennis has been a force within the packaging industry since being named 1984 Packaging Man of the Year by Kraft Foods. Some of his package designs from the ’80s are still in use today. His experience helped guide industry practices, as he served on the board of directors for Shop! (formerly Point Of Purchase Advertising International). He has also achieved the level of Six Sigma Yellow Belt for Process Improvement.
Education is a cornerstone of Dennis’s capabilities, from his B.S. in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University to graduating with high honors with a Masters of Engineering Management from Northwestern University. Currently, Dennis periodically guest-presents at UW Oshkosh.
Beyond Menasha’s doors, Dennis gives back to the community as an active member of the board of directors for HOPE Cancer Connection and the Neenah/Menasha YMCA. In addition he is a past board member for the Boys & Girls Brigade of Neenah, WI and the Michigan State University School of Packaging Alumni Association.
