“DISC is a behavior assessment tool based on the DISC theory of psychologist William Moulton Marston, which centers on four different behavioral traits, which today are called: dominance, influence, steadiness, and compliance.”
For the member’s only meeting in January, members were given – compliments of Exsell – a DISC Assessment. This survey, valued at $175 per person, was an analysis on our sales and marketing behaviors. SMPNEW President Mike Sprang reviewed the meaning behind the results and how it applies to our careers and communication with employees, co-workers, leads and clients.
Your DISC profile is a blend of four primary personality or behavioral characteristics and their relationship to each other. Members completed a 15 minute survey, which generated a 47 page report that was highly insightful, brutally honest and loaded with constructive criticism. This exercise was put into practical settings as members shared how their companies have used this or like assessments to hire and retainer talent; find and convert sales.
